A graduate of The University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, Gayangi joined United Holidays in 2002 focusing on new market development. Her core responsibility has been to expand the tour operator base with new markets such as France, Japan and other Far Eastern Countries. Prior to joining United Holidays Gayangi served as a lecturer at D.P.Aides Information Technology Training Institute and at Mobitel Customer Service Unit. Always looking to create and introduce new and innovative products, Gayangi is a pillar of strength and support to the Management Team.

I love spending time with my family and friends. Singing is my passion and I play the guitar during my leisure time and used to play for a band called “Roshan Nights”. This company is more like a home to me and I enjoy working with the young staff.

I joined United Holidays soon after I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honors) Degree and has been part of the Team ever since. My long standing markets have been the Spanish Market and web based reservations. In addition currently my days are full with projects on Youth and Student Travel, which I find quite challenging. The flair that I have for writing has made me become the Editor of the United Holidays Newsletter which I write under the pen name “SURI” .Apart from United Holidays or “work” I really enjoy going on trips which we organize within the staff. Did I tell you that I love reading and writing poetry too? I think am a family person and simply enjoy spending my weekends with my friends and loved ones.

Surangi has been with the United Team since 2010. Her portfolio includes the handling of Singapore, Internet bookings, FIT Direct clients and the MICE markets. Surangi is qualified in Event Management & is MICE certified by the Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau. Her induction into the Travel & Tourism sector began in 2003. Blessed with an outgoing personality and loads of energy, Surangi is one of the live-wires of the team with a passion for listening to music, interior designing and cross stitch during her spare time.

Himesha has been with United Holidays since 2009. She is currently in charge of the French Market, speaks fluent French and holds a Bachelor of Arts Special Degree in the French language from the University of Kelaniya , Sri Lanka. Even though she has a quiet demeanor, Himesha has a friendly, easy going character, hard working and is ultra dependable. She loves her fish (cooked of course), is a lover of music, especially the classics which helps her relax and unwind during her time away from work.

The youngest member and babe of the company, Shakeer has been with United Holidays since 2009. Currently, he is a member of the team handling back to back group travel operators from UK specializing in working with clients 50 years and over. With a hunger for variety, his portfolio includes the Middle Eastern market. Shakeer shows tremendous enthusiasm and efficiency and has a positive attitude towards work. Blessed with a sense of humour, he is a passionate dog lover who will relate the details of his dog’s pedigree from A to Z. The use of any vocabulary is fine with Shakeer so long as the term ”short staffed” is avoided; this could be taken rather personally….

Fredrick currently handles the Indian Market at United Holidays. He joined the team in 2010. His career began in the Travel & Tourism industry in the year 2000. Having worked previously with other leading destination management companies, he has, over the years gained experience in charter flight operations, ticketing and transportation. He holds a Diploma in Airline Ticketing & is following a foundation course in IATA /UFTAA. A hardworking and talented young man, there is more to Fredrick’s quiet nature – a great sense of humour! During his free time Fredrick enjoys travelling and listening to music.

Better known as ‘Nadeeka San” among his colleagues, Nadeeka is in charge of the Japanese & Far Eastern Markets at United Holidays. Nadeeka’s career in tourism began in 1991 when he started off as a Japanese Tour Guide Lecturer. A fluent speaker of the Japanese language he lived in Japan for more than 10 years. He obtained his Masters Degree in Tourism & Sociology at the Ryutsukeizai University in Ryugazaki, Japan & holds a Diploma in Travel & Tourism, Economics & Hotel Management from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. A staunch devotee in Buddhism, Nadeeka enjoys travelling & watching movies during his free time.

Joining the United Team in 2010 is Dulangi, no novice to Travel & Tourism. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (HONS) Degree in Business (Hospitality) Management from the University of Wales in UK, an Advance Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management from (Raffles Education Corp) Singapore & a Diploma in Airline Ticketing, Reservations and Marketing. Dulangi has a passion for traveling, likes to meet new people and enjoys doing research on all tourism related industries. Currently she handles Europe, USA & the Indian Markets at United Holidays. Dulangi’s special interests include dancing, singing and reading books.

Malaka has joined United Holidays in 2010 and currently part of the team handling the Indian Market at United Holidays. Malaka Has 06 years experience in the Travel and tourism industry having previously worked with destination management companies in Sri Lanka. He is a good cricketer and played as a professional cricketer team player in the school team as well as club cricket.

Fayaz has been working as Resort Representative for United Holidays at Club Palm Bay hotel in Marawila since 2002 .He is mainly responsible for looking after the clients from back to back UK group tour operator and he has received his training in Folkstone, UK under the same tour operator. His Excellent service has gained him many “outstanding achievement” awards in the past and a recent award for “out standing quality score”.

Adrian is currently engaged as the Resort Representative for United Holidays at The Palms hotel in Beruwela & Bentota Beach Hotel in Bentota. He also has previous experience in being based at Tangerine Beach Hotel, Riverina Hotel, Eden Resort & Spa & Club Palm Bay Hotel. He is mainly responsible for looking after the clients from back to back UK group tour operator and he has received his training in Folkstone, UK under the same tour operator.

Dilan joined United Holidays in 2010 and currently working as the Airport Representative for United Holidays meeting and assisting guests on their arrival and departure.
